Schoolhub — AI-native EdTech platform for teachers and students

Schoolhub is a pure AI startup building the next generation of tools for schools — used by teachers, students and institutions across Scandinavia and beyond, with clients including Oslo Kommune and multiple Nordic municipalities.
The platform covers the full educational workflow: teachers can generate complete lesson plans, create custom AI chatbots for specific subjects, upload source material and let AI build quizzes and workbooks from it, and track individual student progress. Students get access to AI tutors, homework coaches, gamified practice, and real-time conversational learning — including role-playing with historical figures and language practice with audio AI.
The core design challenge was designing for multiple distinct user groups simultaneously — teachers building and managing AI tools, students interacting with those AI tools, and institutions administering the platform — each with completely different needs, mental models and interaction patterns.
Key UX challenges included designing safe AI interactions for minors, making complex AI configuration feel simple for non-technical teachers, and ensuring AI-generated content felt trustworthy and educationally sound rather than arbitrary.
