Lexolve — Designing an AI-driven LegalTech platform
Lead UX Designer, responsible for a team of 8, working end-to-end across UX strategy, UI design, design system and product direction.
Lexolve had developed an AI-powered tool that automated legal contract creation for businesses — letting legal experts define rules and logic once, then letting the AI generate correct, compliant documents at scale.
The challenge: the product was built for the enterprise market but needed to pivot to SMB, while also becoming more scalable and faster to develop. My task was to design the AI-driven user experience, rebuild the design system, and help shift the product strategy from enterprise to SMB.
The core UX challenge was classic AI product design: users needed to understand what the AI was doing, trust its output, and feel in control of the result. I designed the interaction flows so that AI-generated contract outputs were always reviewable, editable, and explainable — not a black box.
